A Common Show...Youth exchange - Euro-Med

The organisation is a regional youth NGO created in 2003, supported by Rotary club in Cairo. The members are persons 18-30 years old, and activities include professional development and community service activities, aiming at developing leaders. This youth exchange, "A common show" will be held in Cairo, EG, with the participation of 36 young persons + 8 youth workers, in total 6ES, 6IT, 5PT, 5 CY, 5TR, 5JO, 5TN and 7EG. The aim is to use art as a tool for including youngsters facing social, economical or physical difficulties. Participants will meet with these youngsters in ghettos, running workshops on music, painting, dance etc, and together set up a final performance aiming to the public. In addition, the participants will discuss the different concepts of volunteerism and exclusion and to be encouraged to take active part in society.
