Join us to the euro-med summer exchanges this summer

The Earth Association for International Development with their partners in over than 25 European countries is opening the opportunity to join the program this summer in order to help the youth to fulfill their social and professional life, enhance their participation in the democratic process for the civil society by developing their sense of citizenship, increase the participation of youth and their organizations and help them to find the suitable jobs.

The participation in the program will provide a better understanding of the Euro-Med exchange process, enhance the dialogue between nations, respect, and appreciation, increase social work, enhance the civil society, develop youth leadership, exchange experiences, and youth between countries, develop bridges between nations.

The organization was able to send (107) participants in 2005 from Jordan to many Euro-Mediterranean countries and the organization is eager to increase the number in order to help the Jordanian youth and to promote Jordan's message of peace and development through the world.

The organization is delighted to inform you that there will be four exchanges that you can participate in all through the summer which will start in July and the countries are (Czech Republic, Estonia, and Portugal).

The organization has a special program where the voluntary work is available in many civil organizations with the help of professionals in youth and voluntary work to enhance the youth's feeling for their country and the ability to help the society. And there is another program that is working on developing leadership skills for the enthusiastic youth who are working with the organization by the workshops they attend either in Jordan or abroad and also the documents that they can find in the organization that may be of very good help.

Most of the activities and projects that the organization is working on are specialized in democratic life by training and effective participation. Furthermore the organization provides an umbrella for the youth's projects that will be enhanced by providing the appropriate economical and professional help and managed by the youth themselves.

The organization takes its identity from the Jordanian culture with believing in creativity and continuous development by using the most developed communication and technological programs. The citizenship real meaning comes when the participation is not recognized by its quantity but with the way and the meaning. Enhancing morals by the participation is worth the time and work and remains as our main priority.

The organization believes in team work and active outspoken dialogue and opinion respect in the group to represent the morals wanted in the work and to gain the respect for our culture that is full of great stories and morals to develop the civil society. As a consequence of that the group has achieved the third place in the Pioneering Youth Leadership Competition which was held by the Canada Fund for Local Initiative and Save the Children Organization which was named as (Youth in Community Service). This included two main projects working on environmental and cultural issues and targeted two minority groups which are the remote area group and the deaf group. The project was extraordinary since it joined a large number of girls as well as using the documentation method which provided a secure source for all the activities that were held. The forty participants used their leadership skills which they learned during the workshops held by the project.

The organization stands today with the help of 500 volunteers from around the kingdom to prove the policy of the organization in providing the safe atmosphere that will help through the process of developing the society.
